The Atlanta Alumni Association of Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma (AAA) proudly celebrates a major milestone as four of its distinguished members have been selected for induction into the Gamma Class, “The Resurgence,” of the 40 Under Society during the 2026 MUSIC GREEKΣ Weekend.
The honorees include:
Abraham B. Anthony, III
Dr. Thea Murphy
Brandon Owens
Wairimu Njoroge
This prestigious recognition took place on June 12, 2026, as part of a highly anticipated weekend dedicated to celebrating excellence, leadership, and service within the music Greek community.
MUSIC GREEKΣ stands as a unifying force, commemorating the legacy and impact of the seven national Greek-lettered music organizations while cultivating a powerful network that connects musicians, creatives, and culture through intentional collaboration and community engagement. The 40 Under Society specifically highlights emerging leaders who are making significant contributions to their professions, communities, and the broader mission of music-based Greek-letter organizations.
The induction of these four AAA members is not by chance—it is a direct reflection of sustained commitment to service, leadership, and the advancement of musicianship. Each honoree represents a unique lane of impact, yet all share a common thread: dedication to uplifting others and strengthening the legacy of our organizations.
Abraham B. Anthony, III, President of the Atlanta Alumni Association, continues to lead with vision and structure, driving initiatives that expand community engagement, alumni activation, and strategic partnerships across the region.
Dr. Thea Murphy exemplifies excellence in scholarship, mentorship, and professional leadership, serving as a pillar within both academic and music communities.
Brandon Owens has demonstrated a deep commitment to brotherhood, organizational development, and mentorship, particularly through his work supporting collegiate chapters and alumni engagement efforts.
Wairimu Njoroge brings dynamic leadership and forward-thinking energy, contributing to organizational growth, programming, and community outreach initiatives that strengthen the mission of service and connection.
Collectively, their selection reinforces the strength and relevance of AAA within the national MUSIC GREEKΣ network. It also signals a continued resurgence of leaders who are not only preserving tradition—but actively shaping the future.
As AAA continues its work under the theme of Leading the Next Era, this moment serves as both recognition and responsibility. These honors are not just accolades; they are a call to continue building, mentoring, and elevating the next generation of leaders in music Greek organizations.
The Atlanta Alumni Association extends its full congratulations to these outstanding members and encourages all brothers, sisters, and supporters to celebrate and support them during MUSIC GREEKΣ Weekend.
