At the 2023 National Convention, we had the honor of awarding the Scott Stowell Alumni Excellence Award to Paula Kyser, Life member of the Iota Lambda Chapter at the University of Mount Union. Awarded just once each biennium, the Scott Stowell Alumni Excellence Award recognizes alumni of Kappa Kappa Psi who continue to serve our fraternity through their devotion of time, energy, and spirit while volunteering as advisors, mentors, and role models.
A testimony of her service read, "Paula is truly dedicated to a life of service and has shown that by volunteering in various roles that serve both the Alumni and Active Brothers on national levels. Paula is currently serving as the Chair of the NCDAA and has played a pivotal role in the rise of the organization. Her efforts have resulted in increased membership and greater representation at conventions, all while serving as an exemplary leader for her Board Members. Additionally, Paula has extended her leadership beyond her own Alumni by offering guidance and serving as a sounding board for other District Alumni Association leaders by drawing upon her own knowledge in planning numerous conventions."
